External Speed Gates (ES)

Our ES200 range of external security pedestrian speed gates are specifically designed for outdoor use in the harshest of conditions, rain, snow, and strong wind.

Traditional outside pedestrian perimeter security products only consisted of tripod turnstiles and full height turnstiles.

External speed gates have been around for may years, but now starting to overtake tripod turnstiles because they allow better access for all types of users.

Outdoor pedestrian speed gates are often used in education facilitates such as school and collages as well as leisure and amusement resorts.

Benefits

The ES200 is specifically designed for use outdoors without a shelter or canopy. However we would recommend one for user comfort particularly on busy sites.

Similar to a tripod turnstile, but offers enhances security level. More inviting than full height turnstile but offers a lower security level. Both provide access for a much wider range of pedestrian traffic, such as the elderly, the infirm, disabled persons, parents with pushchairs and young children.

Compared to others that have solid arms which suffer from wind loading ours are stainless still tube or Plexiglas which patterned holes to reduce wind loading.
