The SGRetail has been specifically designed to help with retail loss prevention, as well as offering a cheaper alternative to traditional swing or pass gates used in providing DDA and large object access to gyms, education, and office environments.

Packed full of features the SGRetail gate provides a flexible security solution, particularly useful where high throughput, disable access, large bulky items are required and to meet fire regulations.

The SGRetail can be used as a single cabinet or double with master and slave configuration providing a large opening with high speed and bi-directional pedestrian throughput.

OPERATION

The status LED fitted as standard shows from a distance which lane is in use and the functional LEDs gave the user visual inform on how to proceed.

When set to CONTROLLED the gate requires a volt free normally open relay contact closing for not more than 1 second to allow passage. If used as a bi-directional lane a separate relay contact is required for each direction of travel.

SAFETY IN USE

  • For safety reasons, children (a user smaller than 0.9 m tall) must be supervised by an adult at all times when in the vicinity of and during passage through the gate.

  • Children MUST precede the accompanying adult when using the gate.

  • If regular use by children, elderly and animals is anticipated, Evolve recommends that all options IR sensors are fitted and the parameters set to maximum safety.
